About me

A journey into photography & brand storytelling.

A mindful approach.

I believe in synchronicity and a universal power which sparks inspiration and motivates us into action.

I’ve learnt that by getting clear on what I want, recognising opportunities or synchronicities when they arise and having the courage to take action when they do, we can create an existence in this life that is purposeful, meaningful and rewarding.

This mindful approach will be the start of our journey together - getting clear on what you really want to achieve. Before we prepare the soil to grow your brand, we need to first make sure we’re building it in the right location.

Authentic connections.

When I work with my clients we embark on a creative journey together.

We set off exploring your unique offer - the thing that makes you different. We’ll also spend time getting to know your audience and understanding the issues they come up against.

With this insight we’ll develop an approach that communicates the story n a way that connects the solution your offer to your audiences issues. We’ll do this in a way that remains true to your soul whilst adding value to your business.

Our aim is to elevate your photography and all the places it lives to tell richer stories that foster a deeper, sustainable connection with your ideal audience - the clients you want more of.

My story.

Before becoming an independent, I felt a growing restlessness in a career I felt disconnected with and knew I needed to make some fundamental changes.

I had spent 15 years in the design industry working on all sorts of brand related creative projects. I worked with numerous London based design agencies for a diverse range of clients and covered everything from building brand identities through to websites, social media, built environments, retail and more.

The changes I needed didn’t come over night but gradually, in a cyclical fashion, I began to unpick one life and rebuild another.

Photography & new beginnings.

In 2018, in my north London flat my first shoot took place.

With a camera phone, tripod and friend, this event would turn out to be the start of a new adventure and the departure onto a new path as a photographer.

During a difficult period of her life, with a changing financial landscape, my friend needed to elevate her yoga business into a more sustainable venture.

My interest in photography had been quietly growing before this and out of nowhere I felt a strong compulsion to help her upgrade her website images to move her forward. We planned the shoot and we moved sofas and furniture into the garden to create a studio space.

I remember the process feeling very natural to me. I also felt a strong underlying motivation to support her. This was new to me and whilst I didn’t recognise it fully at the time, this was to become my purpose. This motivation to help people in this way still underpins everything that I do.

Unearthing my purpose.

It’s worth mentioning that during this time, I’d started working with my creative coach and mentor, Sarah Page. This guidance became a key mechanism in helping me understand my motivations.

During our sessions we unearthed that the drive if felt underlying that first shoot was something of significance that I needed to explore.

Over the period of a few years, with Sarah’s support, I began to break out of the existing mould I’d created and started building and living a new life that I felt more aligned with.

It was a period of epiphanies and adventure. Definitely not a walk in the park but a journey of self-discovery, facing my weaknesses and inching forwards, retreating, then trying again.

Starting again with richer soil.

After the first shoot others followed and I started evolving as a photographer - which I understand now to be a continual journey of trial, error and self-expression.

In the spring of 2022 I finally closed down the business routes from my old world and my new business really started to grow.

Around the same time, I began to understand that my photography clients were equally interested in my branding knowledge. I realised the two skill sets were inseparable and worked together in a symbiotic relationship.

I gradually began to weave my branding knowledge into my services in a way that felt relevant to my own independent client base.

As someone familiar with the ups and downs of setting up a new business, my hope is to provide a supportive arm as you walk this branding leg of the journey.

It can take a long time to figure out your own branding. A case of not being able to see the wood for the trees.

Although I have over 15 years experience on high budget branding projects, somehow what I’ve learned in my own journey as an independent freelancer somehow feels more relevant in the pursuit of supporting my current clients.

Overall though, I use the knowledge I’ve gained from both worlds to help you close in on your own goals much faster than you would alone.

A supportive brand partner.
